JMH to Hold Free Tax Planning Workshop

Are you carrying around a plastic shopping bag full of receipts but have no idea what to do with them? Operating a home-based business or making a living in the Gig Economy? Just have some questions about changing tax credits or filing your return?

If you answered “yes” to any of the above, you’re in luck. The professionals from JMH & Co. are offering a free, information session on the ins and outs of personal taxes.

“Attendees should expect about a half hour of information regarding personal taxes and a half hour to talk and ask questions to myself and our other professional staff, Brian Petersen and Kaylyn Schmeichel, as well as the ATB Financial representatives in attendance” said Nicole Gardner, CPA and associate at JMH.

“This is basic information that many people are often unaware of or are looking to be better prepared for tax season. The information applies to everyone” she added.

The event will be held three separate times this coming Monday, February 26th at the JBS Centre with sessions starting at 6:30, 7:30 and 8:30pm respectively.

Are your personal or corporate taxes getting a little too complicated? JMH still has you covered. They offer a free, first consultation. Their experts can help you with corporate tax planning, cross-border taxation as well as commodity and GST tax.

In addition to personal tax services, JMH also offers corporate year end services, auditing, financial reporting, estate planning, agribusiness and services relating to mergers and acquisitions.

While the ins and outs of personal taxes is a free seminar, Chamber Members who wish to access JMH’s other services are offered a financial check for businesses consisting of one initial assessment and one additional follow up meeting to assist with tax advice, financial analysis, start-up assistance, management advice or financial optimization, free of charge.

Finally, the Chamber would like to thank JMH for all the good work they do in the community, being involved as directors on various boards, donating time and resources to help the community.
